Wikipedia and Skeptic Women

My first She Thought blog mentions Rebecca Watson, Debbie Goddard, Greta Christina, Jennifer Michael Hecht, Annie Gaylor, Sikivu Hutchinson, Susan Jacoby, Wafa Sultan and Ophelia Benson.

  1. My assumption is the reason some of these people didn't have Wiki pages is because they were not actually prominent or influential.

That doesn't mean they don't have the talent to be, of course, but I think the secular/skeptical owes much of its current success to people who happen to have a Y chromosome.

I think with your work on Wikipedia, however, you are actually doing a lot to influence people, but in a way that you won't be credited directly.
